Driven by excellence, problem-solving and optimisation, and always bringing value to a team or customer.

My name is Pieter and I’m looking for an electrical apprenticeship.
After a successful career as a senior sound technician in the live music industry, I am making a change to become a licensed electrician. Please download my resume on this page, which shows extensive skills that are transferable to this new career path, and broad life experience.
I’ve just finished the Certificate II Electrotechnology Pre-Apprenticeship course. (averaging 92%)
I’m decent at using basic hand and power tools, having utilised them professionally to make bespoke audio and data cables and patch fields, or repair faulty equipment. I have a strong DIY & electronics mindset at home too, fixing or modifying everything from E-bikes to electronic drum machines.
I am excellent at working independently, but equally enjoy being part of a team and working in a high-quality manner towards a common goal. Working daily with artists, clients, different departments, suppliers and all sorts of personalities has helped me develop excellent communication skills across a wide variety of people.
If you’re looking for a reliable apprentice who rocks up on time, is not on his phone, knows his stuff but is also eager to learn the stuff he doesn’t know, you’ve found him here.
